Gold bars, sometimes referred to as gold ingots, are minted in a variety of sizes ` anywhere between 1- and 400-oz. The largest bars typically carry the smallest premium, and are often traded on major exchanges (i.e. COMEX, etc.) they are more difficult to trade in the secondary market because of their size and value. Investors more commonly take delivery in 1-oz. and 10-oz. gold bar sizes. |
